Blue is the warmest color
Había tenido ya la oportunidad de leer “Le bleu est une couleur chaude” de#JulieMaroh y si bien la considero una obra tiernísima, la extrapolación que del cómic logra #Kechiche en “La Vie d’Adèle: Chapitres 1 et 2” pertenece a otro rango creativo.
Todo en esta película es devastador; desde la negación de la propia sexualidad hasta el rigor con el que se atestigua la madurez afectiva.
Mucho se ha hablado de los excesos durante el rodaje y, más recientemente, las puyas públicas entre las actrices y el director han contribuido a minimizar el aura de la obra. No obstante, haciendo uso de recursos elementales, Kechiche forja un mensaje universal y nos hace, de paso, partícipes de pura humanidad.
Me gustaría poder decir que todos tenemos algo que aprender de Adèle. Pero incluso ello resulta doloroso.

I already had the opportunity of reading #JulieMaroh’s “Le bleu est une couleur chaude” and although I consider it a very tender work, the extrapolation that #Kechiche achieves from the comic in “La Vie d’Adèle: Chapitres 1 et 2” belongs, I feel, to another creative range.
Everything in this film is devastating; from the denial of one’s own sexuality to the rigour with which the emotional maturity is attested.
Much has been said about the excesses during the shooting and, more recently, the public gibes between the actresses and the director have helped to diminish the aura of the work. However, by making use of very basic resources, Kechiche forges a universal message and allows us, incidentally, to feel part of the human genre.
I wish I could say that we all have something to learn from Adèle. But even that is painful.
