Pleodrina is a job fraught with encounters and disagreements, where space and silence “work, undoubtedly, as the best and perhaps the only connectors between a succession of feelings and abstract impressions of love, of self- recognition and emptiness” to paraphrase Eliza Fuenzalida. In reading this collection, I find a mature poetic consciousness and a clear interest in developing a language full of sensuality, with a vehement and passionate speech. These poems, as such, appear as a well-engineered and organic text.
