The application This is Art allows users to grant artistic status to the content generated within social networks.
Its visual representation consists of a hand that symbolizes the letter “A”.
This application completes the trilogy of Social Network Art, which requires three independent variables in order to exist: an exhibited work or element (sign or “hook”), a comment generated on the basis of this work or element, and an identifying symbol (This is Art application).
Together, these three variables are what make up the artistic work.
